Support A1+!Today the guest of the National Press Club was the rector of the Yerevan State Linguistic University after Valeri Brusov, politician Souren Zolyan. According to him, «The greatest deceit is the Constitution itself, as those who say «no» do not know what they are saying «no» to; neither do those who say «Yes».
Mr. Zolyan is going to say “Yes” to the Constitution as the new variant is better than the old one. But there are two dangerous clauses in the new version. One of them is the immunity of the President, and the other is the authorization of changing the borders. “If there are dangerous clauses, we must speak about them, and not organize meetings”, said the politician.
Souren Zolyan does not accept the “No” to the authorities, but the “No” to the text itself. According to him, the society is indifferent towards the Constitutional referendum. He finds that even in case of forgeries the society will not fight.
By the way, he is for the postponing of the referendum for three months in order to raise public awareness about the Constitution. He also said that the Linguistic University has created conditions for the students to get acquainted with the Constitution.
