ARF BUILDING “NATIONAL STATEHOOD” WITH KOCHARYAN
Support A1+!According to the representative of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation bureau Hrant Margaryan today they are going to represent the truth about the federation as it was and as it is.
During the conference devoted to the 115th anniversary of the ARF Mr. Margaryan claimed that they eat the bread baked not 115 year ago, but today. The proof of it is the work done by them for the last 15 years, and now “the creation and adoption of a new Constitution”. “ARF was created for Armenia and the Armenian nation to exist and develop”, Hrant Margaryan announced.
Head of the NA ARF fraction Levon Mkrtchyan said that they became opposition under Levon Ter-Petrosyan as they did not agree with some of their approaches. According to Mr. Mkrtchyan, after Robert Kocharyan’s coming to power “we have started to build national statehood”.
Member of the ARF bureau, NA deputy President Vahan Hovhannisyan claimed that their aim is to enhance statehood without doing harm to the national interests. According to him, ARF has no need for praise, as they have existed and will exist.
At present 115-year-old ARF has 7000 members in Armenia, and tens of thousands in the whole world.
