Support A1+!The Union for National Self-Determination says “Yes” to the Constitutional amendments. “We say “Yes” not because the amendments are ideal or we admire the authorities who made them”, announced Paruyr Hayrikyan today.
“We can prove that in many cases the European Convention of Human Rights is violated here. But this regress and the other shortcomings of the draft do not shadow the considerable achievement of our society”, he added.
According to Hayrikyan, the negatives sides of the draft are the stipulation of the National Assembly formation order, the Presidential republic, the reduction of the number of parliamentarians to 81 or 100, the increase of the frequency of elections, etc.
Paruyr Hayrikyan is against the idea that the draft is that of the authority. “Neither the initiative nor the amendments are theirs. This is a joint document”.
Besides, the leader of the UNSD finds that “By saying “No” to the draft we will not hinder the activity of any oligarch, whereas preserving the old one they would feel like fish in water”.
