2000-DRAM POVERTY
Support A1+!Today the Armenian National Assembly discussed the proposals on introducing changes into the laws on the social sphere.
Supposing that the adoption of the new laws will promote poverty reduction in the republic, the government decreed to raise the amount of the minimal salary of 13000 AMD with 2000 AMD in 2006.
On the whole the deputies positively assessed the proposal. The NA also considered the bill on introducing changed into the law “On State Pensions”. It is supposed to raise pensions with 20% and fix some extra payments. Thus the families of the killed soldiers will receive extra payment totaling in 1000-2000 drams.
