GYUMRI MAYOR RE-ELECTED

Yesterday the elections of local governing bodies too place in the regions of Shirak, Aragatsotn, and Gegharqouniq. By preliminary data the Gyumri mayor Vardan Ghoukasyan and the Artik mayor have been re-elected.

In Ashtarak Gagik Tamazyan has been elected mayor. In Talin the present mayor Mnatsakan Mnatsakanyan has also been re-elected. The elections in Aparan did not take place because of the refusal of candidacy of all the three candidates.

Let us remind you that the final results of the elections will be made public on October 28.
