IT’S TIME FOR KOCHARIAN TO ENABLE PROMISED BULLDOZER
Support A1+!With these words the well known musicians concerned over the fate of the House of Chamber Music after Komitas addressed the RA President.
Chief conductor of the Armenian chamber orchestra Aram Gharabekyan noted that most part of the building is glassed-in, the walls are not isolated, there is no lobby and noise easily penetrates into the hall. The loud music that has been for already three years heard from the a café situated near the House hinders the activities of the cultural hearth.
Well known opera singers Anna Mailyan and Araks Davtyan, head of the string quartette after Komitas Edvard Tadevosyan, head of the children group “Little Singers” Tigran Ekeyan and others spoke on the matter. They are convinced that the abundance of cafes around damages not only the House of Chamber Music as a cultural hearth but also the green zone around.
The cultural figures are surprised at the fact that the building repaired with the Lincy funds is ruining.
The musicians hope for the meeting of Robert Kocharian and Aram Gharabekyan held September 22, during which the Armenian President showed interest in the above mentioned matter.
