LEVEL OF CORRUPTION IN ARMENIA UNCHANGED
Support A1+!Corruption causes poverty and hinders its overcoming, Transparency International President Peter Eigen considers.
His statement is of great interest taking into account the National Program on Poverty Reduction” implemented by the Armenian government.
Transparency International has carried out an investigation on the level of corruption in 159 countries. The investigation showed that corruption is still widely spread in 70 states.
Armenia occupies the 88-th position sharing it with Benin, Bosnia Herzegovina, Gabon, India, Iran, Moldova and Tanzania.
Thus, despite the statements of the authorities on the struggle against corruption, the level of corruption in Armenia remained unchanged.
