LGB ELECTIONS
Support A1+!October 16 in the Lori, Tavoush and Armavir regions of the Republic the elections of local governing bodies were held.
We learned the preliminary results from the Central Electoral Committee.
In Echmiadzin 58% of the electors has participated in the elections. Avagyan Gagik received 18 793 votes, Aghvanyan Yervand – 5 970, Haroutyunyan Susana – 300, Ghandzyan Avetiq – 140, 68 ballots were invalid.
In Vanadzor 47 799 of the 101 205 electors have fulfilled their civic duty. Samvel Darbinyan has received 25 014 votes, Gagik Hovsepyan – 19 800, Andranik Ghoukasyan – 1 283, and 1 697 ballots were invalid.
In Berd only 3 745 of the registered 7 579 electors have participated in the elections. Hrachik Atayan has received 792 votes, Azniv Matevosyan – 111, David Meliqyan – 610, Andranik Sharyan – 2 129, and 110 ballots were announced invalid.
There is no information about appealing the results of the elections. The final results will be announced on October 22.
