In answer to this question the OSCE Minsk group French co-chair Bernard Fassier noted that theoretically they must not have any effect on the settlement of the conflict. As for the practical influence, he cannot say anything.
By the way, referring to the recent indirect inclusion of the other European structures into the process of settlement of the conflict, Mr. Fassier said that the negotiating mission is for OSCE Minsk group only. Other structures can support them in other ways, for example, after the settlement of the conflict the EU can allot money for mine clearing.
