NEW RUSSIAN AMBASSADOR TO ARMENIA
Support A1+!Today Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Vardan Oskanyan received newly appointed Russian Ambassador to Armenia Nikolay Victorovich Pavlov, who handed his credential to the RA FM.
After the ceremony the Minister congratulated the Ambassador with the appointment and wished him success in performing his mission.
“After Armenia became independent the relations between our countries acquired strategic character. We are closely cooperating however a great deal of work should be done”, the Minister said expressing assurance that the Ambassador’s activities will contribute to the strengthening of good traditions established between Armenia and Russia.
In his turn Ambassador Pavlov stated he will exert every effort to deepen the Armenian-Russian ties.
To note, earlier Nikolay Pavlov occupied the post of Russian Ambassador to Mongolia. Before arriving in Armenia he was a representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry in the Federal Siberian Okrug.
