AGAINST IN SPITE OF VOTING FOR
Support A1+!The fraction «Democratic Delegate» voted for all the three draft constitutions as according to the fraction head Karen Karapetyan none of them was the best. «If one of them was the best we would naturally vote for it. According to us, the three drafts are unacceptable, they need improvements», informed Karen Karapetyan.
In that case. Why did the «Democratic Delegate» vote for? “In case of voting against we made a choice between the old one and a new one. We support a new constitution”, continued the head of the fraction with the same logics. The latter says that before the second reading of the drafts they will represent their offers.
Karen Karapetyan hopes that as a consensus will finally be reached. According to him, the coalition must take into account all the offers, and in particular those of the Venice Committee.
Karen Karapetyan considers that the success of the Constitutional referendum depends also on the possibility of dialogue between the opposition and the authorities about this most important document. In this issue, according to the deputy, everything depends on the work of the three governing parties. «If there is consensus, I think the constitutional referendum will be successful, if it is not, I have strong doubts in that connection», concluded the head of the fraction «Democratic Delegate».
