ENCROACHMENT AGAINST THE “ELECTORAL CODE”?
Support A1+!They try to adopt the changes of the Electoral Code by means of violation in the Parliament. This is the overall definition of what is going on after the elimination of the amendments of the “Electoral Code” from the NA agenda. The NA majority explained this by the fact that the United Labor Party and the members of the fraction “Democratic Delegates” complain against some points of the Electoral Code.
Today the heads of the above mentioned party and fraction revealed that in fact the issue was included in the agenda illegally. According to the order, before being included in the agenda of the four-day sessions, any legislative initiative must be discussed in the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs and have the positive conclusion of the Committee.
There has been no discussion of the Electoral Code in the Committee, as far as its last session did not take place due no lack of quorum. But the 3 representatives of the same ULP were present at the Committee session, so they find it possible to blame the coalition for not convening the session of the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs.
By the way, there are two main complaints about the amendments to the Electoral Code. The first is about the order of formation of electoral committees, and the second refers to the authorizations of the entrusted persons, which, according to those against the amendments, must be more.
