OPTIMIZATION OF UNION OF LAWYERS

From Monday, March 21, the unions of lawyers will be dismissed. Since 1998 two unions of lawyers have acted in Armenia, these being the Union of Lawyers headed by Misha Piliposyan and the International Union of Lawyers presided by Tigran Ter-Yesayan.

Today a farewell party was organized in the International Union of Lawyers. Tigran Ter-Yesayan expressed his gratitude to 137, who has worked in the Union for 6 years.

According to the law «On the Bar» a Chamber of Lawyers is to be formed. For the formation of this structure all the lawyers of the republic will take part in the common sitting to be held March 19-20. The total number of the participants will make 430-440 people.
