DEMOCRATIC PARTY TO REMAIN WITHOUT ROOF

The Democratic party of Armenia is likely to remain without roof, party chairman Aram G. Sargsyan reported during toady's press conference.

The administration of the CJSC Mining and Smelting Institute delivered an ultimatum to quit the territory in 14, Koryun street.

According to the government decree, the party has been renting the above-mentioned territory since 1992. In 2003 without warning the tenants the building was privatized. In the words of the DPA leader the privatization of 4 buildings - one in the Koryun street 14, one in the Khanjyan street and one in Arinberd as well as a rest house in Dilijan was made for $54-55 thousand. The general territory of the constructions makes about 20 thousand cubic meters. Aram G. Sargsyan stated that a number of violations were made during the privatization process and that the party will come down to the investigation of facts. The deputy has also addressed to the Auditory Chamber of the Armenian NA. The governmental response, however, ran that the party should solve its territorial problems with the representatives of the private sector.
