ARMEN AVETISYAN IS AGAINST THE IDEA
Support A1+!The Trial of Armen Avetisyan, head of the Armenian Aryan Union, is to take place on March 17. In this connection the members of the Union organized today a press conference.
«We have the aim of carrying out professional struggle, that is - all the articles are discussed one by one and proper reasons for all the charges will be brought», said Melanya Aroustamyan, lawyer of Armen Avetisyan.
According to her, 7 witnesses will be called, who are mainly journalists and have had interviews with Armen Avetisyan. Both the published materials and the testimonies of the witnesses serve as ground for the accusation.
Mrs. Aroustamyan claims, «Giving such interviews, Armen Avetisyan did not have any aims to evoke hostility against the Jewish or Turkish nations. His announcements were against zionistic, masonic ideology, and taking ideology for a nation by a persecuting body is evidently groundless».
By the way, on March 11 Manuk Gasparyan and Viktor Dallakyan have applied to the Kentron and Nor Nork communities' Court of the first instance to change the precautionary measure against Armen Avetisyan. The answer of the Judge is not yet known.
