REDUCTION OF “ARMENIAN” POSTS IN THE GEORGIAN PATROL POLICE
Support A1+!The employment of new workers in the Georgian newly-formed patrol police has also influenced the Akhalqalaq department of the patrol police. There have been 100 applications for the 18 posts in the Patrol police Akhalqalaq department. After the corresponding exams in the new department the correlation of the Armenian and Georgians has changed abruptly.
If from the 18 policemen in the local police 16 were Armenians and only 2 were Georgians, now the picture has changed – 6 Armenians and 12 Georgians. The A-Info agency informs that from the previous Armenian policemen, the greater part of whom were lawyers with higher education, only 4 were able to pass the barrier of the Georgian put at the exams. From the 12 Georgians employed in the Akhalqalaq police 6 live in the neighboring Aspindza region.
There will soon be employment exams in the other departments of police.
