New investments expected from Lebanon
Business Armenia team headed by executive director Armen Avak Avakyan was in Lebanon on September 22-26 with a business mission. Agreements on new investments have been reached in Armenia during the visit. This is the third business visit to Lebanon. The business Armenia team has put into practice the investment agreements made during previous visits. A number of meetings were held with Lebanese investors and heads of partner organizations. At the meeting with the business Armenian team, Chedid Capital Holding head Farid Chedid has expressed intention to open a branch of insurance company in Armenia. To note, Chedid Capital has branches in 5 countries around the world. As a result of another meeting, Garo Matosyan, executive director of Makitek, expressed his intention to set up production of plastic molding and industrial machine components in Armenia with investments of $ 250,000. MAC Agrochemicals company considers to open a branch office in Armenia, which deals with the production of fertilizers and pesticides. A number of businessmen will visit our country in the near future to study projects.
