Arstakh: Armenian armed forces did not attempt commando raid
On June 21, Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry spread misinformation alleging that its army had repulsed an attempt by a group of Azerbaijani commandoes to cross the Line of Contact on Tuesday evening. At the same time, it said Azerbaijani armed forces had taken hostage one Armenian serviceman. The Defense Ministry of the Artsakh Republic dismisses the report saying its Defense Army didn’t attempt to infiltrate into the territory of Azerbaijan. “When punitive actions are carried out to curb the enemy, their painful consequences do not make us wait long. By disseminating a report with such content, the enemy’s armed forces recorded yet another ‘victory’ in the virtual domain in an attempt to present the desired for reality,” the Ministry said in a statement.
