April 2 elections: Investigative Committee launches 15 criminal cases
As of April 11, Armenia’s Investigative Committee has launched 15 criminal cases in connection with the April 2 parliamentary elections. Eleven of them refer to an attempt to vote more than once in the April 2 vote (Article 34-153 of the Armenian Criminal Code) and four to the violation of ballot secrecy (Article 154 of the Criminal Code). One of the cases was dropped due to lack of corpus delicti. Four cases were sent to court.
