Tevan Poghosyan: Lawmakers can no longer show up once every three weeks and press a button (video)
Most of the lawmakers who took seats in the National Assembly after the April 2 parliamentary elections have no idea of what expects them in the new parliament. Tevan Poghosyan says he did not participate in vote buying. He tried to set an example to others. “They [MPs] can no longer show up after 12 once every three weeks and press a button. I think the new lawmakers will understand that they need to work 24 hours a day and seven days a week. The approaches have been reviewed. In addition to adopting and amending laws, they will also have a strong control over the executive body,” he said.
