SRC: Air Armenia embezzled large sums of money
The State Revenue Committee has revealed a significant increase in the volume of documentations on violations and offenses in 2016 and between January andFebruary 2017. The check-ups conducted by the State Revenue Committee revealed that in the period between 2014 and 2016 the Air Armenia Company caused the state damage in the amount of 1.486 billion drams. The company failed to pay chargeable duties to the state budget within three business days as prescribed by law. The Committee has opened criminal proceedings against the company under Article 3 of the Armenian Criminal Code (large-scale embezzlement).
