Karabakh: Azerbaijan fired 900 gunshots overnight
Azerbaijan’s armed forces violated the ceasefire along the Line of Contact 50 times overnight, firing more than 900 gunshots against Armenian defense positions. Azerbaijani troops mainly fired in the southern (Hadrut), eastern (Martuni-Akna) and northeastern directions of the frontline. The NKR Ministry of Defense reports that besides weapons of different calibers, Azerbaijani forces also used a 60-mm mortar to fire 11 rounds at the defense guards in Martakert. The frontline units of the NKR Defense Army took retaliatory measures to suppress enemy’s activity, especially in the northeastern direction. The ministry says the situation is relatively calm on the frontline.
