Azerbaijan's armed forces started shelling Armenian defense positions along the Line of Contact starting from 5:00 p.m. According to Nagorno-Karabakh’s Ministry of Defense, more intensive gunshots were released in the north-eastern (Martakert) and northern (Talish) directions of the frontline. Azerbaijan shot 116 mines of 82-mm caliber. “Ironically, Azerbaijan, again hurried to blame the attempts to destabilize the situation on the Karabakh side, which does not correspond to reality. The frontline units of the Defense Army honour the agreement on the cessation of hostilities and respond only in case of extreme necessity,” the Ministry said.
