Active military operations continue: consultation
Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan convened a consultation relating to the large-scale offensive actions initiated by Azerbaijan along the entire contact line between Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces. The consultation was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for International Economic Integration and Reforms of Armenia Vache Gabrielyan, Minister - Chief of RA Government Staff Davit Harutyunyan, Minister of Health Armen Muradyan, Minister of Emergency Situations Armen Yeritsyan, Deputy Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan and Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan. The RA Prime Minister noted that this unprecedented action is another obvious display of the Azerbaijani policy directed against peaceful settlement of Nagorno -Karabakh conflict, “The Armenian armed forces fully control the situation, causing significant losses to the adversary and hurling them back. The RA state bodies within their capacities are ready for necessary steps directed to the stabilization of the situation.” The RA Deputy Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan gave a report on the situation by noting that the adversary initiated unprecedented actions ever since 1994, the active military operations continue at the line of contact between the opposing forces of Karabakh and Azerbaijan, the Armenian armed forces gave relevant counterattack to the adversary.
