Seyran Ohanyan, Andrzej Kasprzyk discuss situation along Line of Contact
On January 21, Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan received Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office. The two men discussed the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and along the Line of Contact between Azerbaijani and Karabakh Armed Forces. The Armenian Defense Minister briefed the OSCE representative on the recent Azerbaijani provocations and Armenia’s responsive actions. Mr Ohanyan once again stressed the importance of developing international investigation mechanisms to tighten control over the situation. For his part, Ambassador A Andrzej Kasprzyk expressed concerns over the escalation of the situation and promised to take appropriate measures.
