Armenia exports more fresh fruit and vegetables to Russia, Georgia and Switzerland
Armenia has exported 1313 tons of fresh fruit and vegetables as of January 18 as compared with the 539 tons exported in the same period last year, Armenia’s Ministry of Agriculture reports. The Ministry says the exports of cucumber totaled 259 tons, that of tomato 197 tons against the 2 tons of the previous year, 294 tons of potato and 76 tons of greens. Also, the country has exported 184 tons of apples and 135 tons of grapes. The Ministry says most of the fresh produce went to Russia, Georgia and Switzerland.
