Azerbaijani armed forces suffer at least 13 fatalities and a number of injured
From December 13 to 19 armed clashes occurred between the opposing forces of Karabakh and Azerbaijan. During that period, Azerbaijan fired more than 19000 shots in the direction of Armenian positions from weapons of different caliber including 60mm, 82 mm and 120 mm mortars, RPG-7 and HAN-17 grenade launchers. The adversary also used TR-107 rocket launcher and ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft canon. During the last week the adversary initiated several subversive penetration attempts in the southern, eastern, north-eastern and northern directions of the Line of Contact. The DA vanguard units timely spotted the advancement of Azerbaijan’s special units and threw them back to their positions also causing losses. According to verified data, only during the last week the Azerbaijani armed forces suffered 13 fatalities and more than thirty injured. The retreating adversary left a number of means intended for the special operation at the site of the operation.
