Adversary uses mortars and grenade launchers
The Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army reports, on the night of December 17, the adversary violated the ceasefire regime along the Line of Contact between the opposing forces of Karabakh and Azerbaijan about 180 times. During that period, the adversary fired more than 1800 shots in the direction of Armenian positions from weapons of different caliber including 60mm (144shells), 82 mm (117 shells) and 120 mm (3 shells) mortars, “Mukha” (2 shells), HAN-17 (55 shells) and RPG-7 (6 shells) grenade launchers. The DA vanguard units keep the operative situation under control and take punitive actions if necessary.
