Armen Amiryan appointed member of Council of Public Television and Radio Company

Serzh Sargsyan has signed a decree to appoint Armen Amiryan member of the Council of Public Television and Radio Company for a term of six years. In accordance with the order of competition for the vacant position at the Council of Public Television and Radio Company, Armen Amiryan and Avtandil Grigoryan, were declared winners among the seven candidates vying for the announced positions. The Commission took into consideration their extensive experience in the field of journalism, specifically in television and radio, as well as their professional skills and achievements. Earlier in December, Armen Amiryan submitted his resignation as Executive Director of the Public Radio of Armenia. in a Facebook post, Mr Amiryan thanked his colleagues for kindness and appreciation, as well as honest, unbiased and devoted attitude towards the listeners. He also said he would apply for a vacant position of the member of the Council of Public Television and Radio Company.
