Armenia exported 68 400 tons of fresh fruit and vegetables
Armenia has exported 68 400 tons of fresh fruit and vegetables so far this year as compared with the 40 900 tons exported in the same period last year, Armenia’s Ministry of Agriculture reports. The ministry says the exports of grapes totaled 10 500 tons, those of apples made 980 tons, when compared to last year’s exports of 5870 tons of grapes and 16 tons of apples. Also, the country exported 210 tons of persimmons compared with last year’s 63 tons. The country also exported 10 100 tons of cabbage and cauliflower, 2770 tons of radish and 1450 tons of greens. The Ministry says most of the fresh produce went to Russia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Iran.
