Emergency ministry releases victim names in Moscow-Yerevan bus crash
Eight victims of the Moscow-Yerevan bus crash were identified as of 07.53 am November 4, says Armenia’s Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergencies. The Ministry has published their names: 1. Hakob L. Alikhanyan (born in 1960), 2. Hayk Zh. Hovhannisyan (1981) 3. Hrach A. Badalyan (1981) 4. Gagik A. Manukyan (1961) 5. Varuzh S. Stepanyan (1954) 6. Spartak Ts. Nalbandyan (1947) 7. Garnik G. Hakobyan (1961) 8. Artashes A. Hovhannisyan (1980) Eight individuals have received in-patient medical care. 1. E. R. Harutyunyan, 47 2. A. A. Galstyan, 23 3. M. A. Iskandaryan, 22 4. G. R. Harutyunyan, 42 5. A. M. Mkrtchyan, 24 6. Zhora A. Rushanyan, 17 7. Gayane R. Harutyunyan, 40 8. Ararat A. Galstyan, 23 Eleven of the 32 hospitalized survivors are in intensive care units. Six of the 16 people receiving treatment at the Uzlovskaya medical center are at the hospital’s intensive care department; two are reported to be in the Department of Surgery and the other eight – in the Department of Traumatology. The regional Crisis Management Center has launched a telephone hotline - 007 487 221 1609. The National Crisis Management Center adjunct to the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergencies also operates hotline numbers (911 or 374 10 36 02 97). A bus carrying passengers from Moscow to Yerevan lost control on Tuesday, November 3, and crashed near the town of Uzlovya in the Russian Tula Oblast, killing eight and injuring 43 citizens of Armenia.
