Beloved actor Vardan Petrosyan who has been serving his sentence in the so-called open detention regime, needs time to adapt to new life, Petrosyan’s lawyer Nikolay Baghdasaryan said today. . The lawyer says he speaks to the actor every day: he goes to work but does not want to give interviews. “Can you imagine a person’s reaction when told that he is released and can go to work after spending one year and eight months in isolation? He needs two weeks to adapt to life. Vardan does not know whether to go home and have lunch there or ask his family to bring his lunch to work because he does not want to be approached and interviewed in the street. He has the right to go home, have meals and take a bath,” said the lawyer. Two passengers of the Niva were killed in the crash. Petrosyan himself was among the injured people who were hospitalized that night.
