Serzh Sargsyan offers condolences on Kirk Kerkorian’s death
Serzh Sargsyan today extended condolences in connection with the death of great American Armenian benefactor, National Hero of Armenia Kirk Kerkorian. “It was with deep pain that I heard the news about the death of the great philanthropist and national hero of Armenia Kirk Kerkorian. “I am sure that everyone in Armenia, in Artsakh and in Diaspora shares this pain. As a businessman and entrepreneur, he [Kerkorian] became a legend already during his lifetime and enjoyed international fame and reputation, he became an example of an Armenian survivor, a hard-working, wise, kind and modest man. “The Lincy Foundation established by Kerkorian supported Armenians at the most difficult moments, helping overcome the challenges and embark on a new track of development. The Foundation’s programs added a powerful impetus to the country’s economy, seriously changing the picture of our country. “I am convinced that the memory of the great son of the Armenian people will always remain bright, and our people will remember him with pride and gratitude. “I express my condolences to all of us on this great loss.”
