Most citizens believe Gyumri tragedy will not be disclosed (video)
From March 3 to 14, the Gallup International Association conducted a survey among 1500 citizens of Armenia to know their opinion on the Gyumri tragedy. Seventy percent of the respondents believe the January 12 tragic incident in Gyumri will never be disclosed, Head of the Gallup International Association in Armenia Aram Navasardyan, said at a press conference on April 6. Forty percent of respondents think that Valery Permyakov, a Russian soldier charged with brutally murdering the seven-member Avetisyan family in Gyumri, may have had accomplices helping him. Aram Navasardyan alo said that 47% of those surveyed were unaware of the activities of the State Commission on Coordination on the events dedicated to the commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. Seventy percent of citizens said they would go to the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial on April 24 to commemorate the Genocide victims.
