“The opportunity (of the meeting between Levon Ter-Petrosyan and Serzh Sargsyan - edt.)  is lost because of violence used against Gagik Tsarukyan,” says Levon Zurabyan, head of the RA NA Armenian National Congress (HAK) faction. By offering a meeting, Ter-Petrosyan wanted Serzh Sargsyan to understand that he mustn’t use the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide in order to strengthen his inner political position: “Ter-Petrosyan’s address was means of tying Serzh Sargsyan’s hands so that he isn’t able to hit BHK, he isn’t able to expand the terror, which he uses against BHK.” Levon Zurabyan thinks that by this letter Levon Ter-Petrosyan clearly explained to Serzh Sargsyan that the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide is more than the inner political problems, one must separate them: “Levon Ter-Petrosyan couldn’t wait for a long time, April 24 is coming, at the same time his step was aimed to prove that Serzh Sargsyan doesn’t have a right to use this nationwide issue through strengthening the inner political positions.” Vahram Baghdasaryan thinks that the second letter of Levon Ter-Petrosyan is better than the first one, which criticizes the declaration of the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide: “There is much progress and we appreciate it.” It doesn’t mean that Vahram Baghdasaryan agrees with the terms of the letter. What’s more, he doesn’t want to analyze the letter politically and to look for something more than there is written: “It relates to two Presidents, former and present. We will do assumptions after that meeting if the meeting is held.” Tigran Urikhanyan has no answer to the question what hints there were in Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s letter to Serzh Sargsyan: “I don’t have a definite answer.” Answer to the question, whether the letter was a backstabbing directed to Gagik Tasrukyan, also isn’t definite. The meeting of Serzh Sargsyan and Gagik Tsarukyan was held only after that letter, wasn’t it?
