Levon ter-Petrosyan receives Charge d'Affairs of Sweden
On January 21, Armenia’s first President and leader of the opposition Armenian National Congress (HAK) Levon Ter-Petrosyan met Chargé d'Affaires of Sweden in Armenia Mårten Ehnberg. During the meeting initiated by the Swedish diplomat, Levon Ter-Petrosyan presented his approaches on political developments in Armenia and the future plans of the HAK. In particular, he stressed the importance of eliminating the systemic corruption, the continuing violations of human rights and democratic freedoms and other vicious phenomena in the country. Armenia’s first President also spoke about the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and Armenian-Turkish relations, HAK Press Service reports.
