Cars have been blocked
RA ES Ministry informs that on December 6 at 08:00 all the roads in the RA are mainly passable. Sotk-Karvachar road is difficult to pass. There is black ice in Vardenyats mountain pass and on Yerevan-Sisian road. In order to provide secure traffic road engineers in road traffic spots are implementing salt and sand processing work. MES of the Republic of Armenia warns to drive on the high-mentioned parts only by winter tires and in urgent cases. The Department of Emergency Situations of Georgia’s Interior Ministry reports that Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles with tire chains. MES informs that on December 6 at 03:42 a call was received that on Sotk-Karvachar road, cars aren’t able to continue their way because of black ice and snow, help is needed. A rescue brigade went on the scene. Firefighters took out 2 trucks and 3 cars from the block on Vardenis-Karvachar road 35th km. On December 6 at 03:20 a call was received that on M-3 interstate road near Vardenis village, “BMW X5” car came out of the traffic zone and appeared in snowdrift, rescuers help is needed. A firefighting brigade went on the scene. Rescuers took out “BMW X5” car with state numbers 20OS839 (driver A. H.) from the block. On December 5 at 22:45 a call was received that on M-4 interstate road near Sevan city, “Gazel” car was blocked in snowdrift, rescuers help is needed. A firefighting brigade went on the scene. Rescuers took out “Gazel” car with 34UV748 state numbers (driver Z. O.) from the block.
