New device determining driver’s soberness (video)
On November 7 from 20:00 to 24:00, 32 cars were taken to special area of Traffic Police as a result of regular inspection in Yerevan: 20 drivers were drunk, 12- without relevant documents. On the same day from 20:00-24:00 inspections were carried out also in Lori region. 11 cars were taken to special area: all the drivers were drunk. Notice Police regularly develops technical capacity of Police departments. And here is another innovation- device, which determines the driver's soberness on the spot. The devices were tested by the National metrology institute and were given relevant certificates.
