Hundreds of volunteers have taken part in Saturday clean-up and tree planting
Yerevan Municipality staff, workers of various organizations subordinated to the Municipality, staff of administrative areas, Yerevan Council members, members of public and youth organizations, hundreds of volunteers have taken part in the citywide Saturday clean-up and tree planting announced by Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan.
Since the morning, clean-up work has launched in all the administrative areas and it is going on now, during which dozens of green areas of public use including yards, gardens and parks are being cleaned.
With the efforts of students and representatives of public organizations and DM representatives Tsitsernakaberd area is also being cleaned. Special cars are taking the garbage collected into garbage site. Yerevan Municipality has provided all the necessary supplies and tools for Saturday clean-up.
